Avitra began its business journey in 1984
with the incorporation of Avitra Aviation Services Private Limited in Singapore.

During its early years, Avitra took on work and projects for the Singapore Ministry of Defence and the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). Both, including the Republic of Singapore Army and Navy, have remained key customers to this day.

Avitra’s business interests straddle a wide spectrum of products and services. They include the purchase and sale of aircraft, trading in aircraft components and spares, biometric security solutions for airports and border control, airline fleet management support and long-term aircraft maintenance and engine support programmes and proprietary software for information display systems at airports, train and other terminals.

Avitra also takes on special projects as prime contractor for cabin completion of heads-of-state and VIP aircraft, and the interior upgrade and system modification of special-mission aircraft.

Avitra also works with aircraft manufacturers and system partners on new aircraft programmes.

Although Avitra’s core business remains largely aviation-linked, the contacts and close relationships forged through the years with various business partners at all levels have resulted in Avitra being frequently approached for advice on joint venture projects and other special undertakings.

And in working closely with business associates, Avitra effectively serves as their extended marketing and commercial arm to strategically advise, help develop and promote their products, solutions and services.

Avitra leverages on its extensive experience, best practices and relationships in the countries where Avitra is dominant, principally China and the ASEAN countries.
